Born and raised in Portugal, Ines found her way into restaurants while she was a journalism student at UCLA. After graduating with Honors, a short stint at The Los Angeles Times, and several months traveling in Patagonia, Ines found her home in Boston and in its lively restaurant scene. While working for several years at James Beard Award winning restaurants Craigie on Main and No 9 Park, she obtained her sommelier certification and developed a total dedication to the guest experience. Since joining The Salty Pig as General Manager in 2014, Ines has been dedicated to bringing thoughtful personal guest service and an old world focused wine list.
